What is the role of the Indian banks Association?

IBA is an association of Indian banks and financial institutions. Indian Banking Association (IBA) was formed for strengthening, better coordination and development of the Indian banking system. It helps its members in adoption of standards of implementation of systems. IBA was established in 1946. It is based out of Mumbai.
