Who is the ex officio chairperson of the National Disaster Management Authority?

The Prime Minister of India is the ex officio chairperson of the National Disaster Management Authority. NDMA is a statutory body created under the Disaster Management Act 2005. It is the apex body for Disaster Management in India.
