Who was the father of Hyder Ali?

Fath Muhammad was the father of Hyder Ali and a general of the kingdom of Mysore. He served with distinction at an early age as a commander of 50 men in the Rocket artillery of the army of the Nawab of Carnatic, before taking up service with the Mysore Kingdom.
