Who was the first president of Prarthana Samaj?

The first president of the Prarthana Samaj was Atmaram Pandurang. Atmaram Pandurang Turkhadekar was an Indian physician and social reformer who was also one of the co-founders of the Bombay Natural History Society.

Atmaram Pandurang belonged to a highly educated and influential family and his circle of acquaintances included reformists from across the country.
