The conducting body for NEET, the NTA (National Testing Agency) releases the official set of answer keys.

The answer keys are released as PDF. Challenges to the answer key are accepted. One must note that this action is time-bound. The last date inviting challenges (if any) is also specified by the NTA.

NEET 2020:

The question paper for NEET 2020 was provided in 11 different languages.

The NEET question paper was available in different codes, as given below:

  • E series – E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6
  • F series – F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6

  • Visit the official website for NEET
  • Click on the link flashing download NEET answer keys
  • Screen displays PDF
  • Locate your code of question paper as answer keys for all codes of E, F, G and H series are available
  • Tally your responses with answer keys provided
  • Predict your score

How To Calculate NEET Score Using Formula?

To find out your NEET score, after tallying and verifying from the official set of preliminary answer keys, you may use the formula given below:

NEET Score = [{4 * Number of correct responses} – {1 * Number of incorrect responses}]

Challenging NEET Answer Keys – Procedure

Candidates can access the official set of answer keys and tally their responses to predict a probable score. In case of any disparity, the same can be challenged. For the same, INR 200/- is applicable per challenge. The NTA specifies the date and time until which the portal remains active/closed for the challenge.

Step-by-step process

The step-by-step process to challenge the official answer keys for NEET is as explained below:

  • Visit the official website
  • Login using your credentials – application number along with the password
  • Locate the option, “Apply for key challenge” under the Key challenge tab provided on the left-hand side
  • Opt for your respective question paper code
  • The screen displays 4 columns –
    • Select Question(s) to be challenged
    • Answer as per NTA
    • Suggested Answer(s) by the candidate
    • Remarks
  • Pick your question to be challenged from the first column, tick the box
  • Once ticked, the third column “Suggested Answer(s) by the candidate” displays 4 options
  • You may pick 1 or more than one option ID provided in the columns by ticking the checkbox if it has to be challenged
  • After challenging questions and selecting desired options, submit to move to the next page
  • The screen displays a summary of your desired challenges
  • Select the “Final submit” tab
  • Make the payment as shown on the screen. Select “Go for payment”
  • Choose your mode of payment and carry out the transaction, viz via Credit/Debit card/Net banking
  • Rupees 200/- is charged per challenge
  • Once payment is successful, take a printout of the receipt
  • Your fee will be refunded if your challenge is found to be correct
