NEET Counselling
Knowing top medical institutes is useful during the counselling process. Another important factor to keep in mind is the cut-off. NEET aspirants should be aware of the previous cut-off trends before taking the exam. Knowing the cut-offs of each and every top medical college in India is vital to proceed with counselling.
Candidates with qualifying marks can proceed to round 1 of counselling. If the candidates are unhappy with the allotted seats, they can proceed to the next round (round 2). Finally, all the leftover vacant seats will be filled through a NEET mop-up round. These 3 rounds are conducted by the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee). There is a further 4th round called βstray vacancy roundβ conducted by the respective Central/Deemed Universities/JIPMER/AIIMS. The MCC is not responsible for any incorrect or wrong seat allotment in this round. Also, once the seats are accepted by the candidates, they cannot be surrendered or declined.
