HGO Syllabus

The HGO paper comprises 50 multiple-choice questions in which students must select the correct answer from four options. The exam is for 50 minutes. There are no penalties for incorrect responses. The HGO paper is divided into two parts: subject-based and reasoning-based. There will be 30 subject-based questions and 20 reasoning-based questions for students to answer.

Instructions for the GK Olympiad Hummingbird

Before entering the examination room, every student should be familiar with the instructions listed below.

  • At the time specified on the admission card, the exam will begin. 30 minutes before the start of the exam, all students are required to report at the designated exam sites.
  • 15 minutes before the start of the exam, students will be permitted to enter the room to complete their OMR sheets with the necessary information.
  • Ten minutes after the exam’s start, no students will be permitted to enter the examination room.
  • Humming Bird doesn’t grant any more time to finish the test.
  • Once the exam is over, students may exit the examination room.
