Humming Bird Aptitude and Reasoning Olympiad

Humming Bird Education Ltd. is committed to instilling positive attitudes in pupils and improving their factual, logical, and problem-solving abilities. Students’ logical and problem-solving abilities are tested in the Humming Bird Aptitude and Reasoning Olympiad (ARO). ARO is open to students in grades 1 to 12. Furthermore, Humming Bird supports students in writing international-level Olympiads, and they were named Asia’s Greatest Brands of the Year 2017-18 by PricewaterhouseCoopers P.L., and Mr Nitish Jain was named Asia’s Greatest Leaders of the Year 2017-18 by PricewaterhouseCoopers P.L.

The Humming Bird is also the first organisation in India to organise Olympiads in regional languages, assisting state boards and students. Humming Bird Education began two new sets of tests in 2020. Language tests (for six languages) and the Educator Excellence Olympiad (EEO) are the two sets. We will discuss the ARO Exam 2022 details in this article.

ARO Registration

There are three sections to the application form. Candidates must first obtain their parents’ signatures on the parent consent form and submit it to the school coordinator along with the fee.

The school should first register itself using the school registration form (first part of the registration booklet) and then fill out the student registration form with the names of the students who are interested (the second part of the registration booklet). The coordinator is in charge of attaching the parent consent papers to the registration booklet and delivering it to Humming Education (P) Ltd through post (offline) or email (online).

Payment for ARO 2022 registration can be made online or by sending a demand draft in the mail.

ARO Syllabus

Students benefit from the syllabus since it exposes them to the themes on which questions will be asked in the test and encourages them to better prepare for the ARO exam.

The ARO 2022 syllabus is available in the free book and app that students receive after registering. Students can use mobile applications to access a huge variety of audio and video tutorials.

Level 2 Exam Qualification Criteria

The level 2 exam qualification criteria are shown below.

  • Getting a 75 per cent or above on the level one test.
  • The top 10 students in each class in the state.
  • If at least 10 pupils participated in the school, first and second place in the class will be awarded.

Exam ARO Level 2

For students who passed the ARO level 1 test, the ARO level 2 exam will be held in the first week of February 2023. The Humming Bird Organisation will offer the schools a list of qualified individuals.

The results of the level 2 test will be released by the Humming Bird Foundation in the final week of March 2023 (tentative).

ARO Exam Pattern

Multiple-choice questions are included in the ARO, and applicants must select the correct answer from four options. Negative marks will not be given for incorrect answers or leaving a question unanswered on the exam.

With a total test period of 60 minutes, there will be 40 subject-based questions and 20 intelligence-based questions devised to assess their higher-order thinking skills.

Admit Card for ARO 2022

The admission card for ARO 2022 is available for download on the official website. Students can access their candidate profile on Humming Education’s website for free by using their registration number as the login and password.

Without a hall ticket, students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. After obtaining the admission card from the Humming Education portal, candidates are advised to print a copy.

Results of ARO 2022

The results of the ARO may be seen on Humming Bird’s official website. The results will also be emailed and delivered to the individual institutions. Students can enquire about the outcome with their school coordinator.

The result will not be shown if the student has entered an inaccurate registration number on the OMR form. Such students can enquire about their grades by contacting the school administration. Along with the ARO 2022 result, candidates will receive a participation/rank holder certificate and a Student’s Performance Report (SPR).
