After downloading the call letter, applicants must check it thoroughly and look for any discrepancy. How to download the Indian Overseas Bank Specialist officer (SO) Exam Admit Card?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the Canara Bank Specialist Officer (SO) exam admit card.

  • Visit the official website of Canara bank i.e. canarabank.com.
  • Select the “Career” tab given on the homepage.
  • A new page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab.
  • Now candidates should click on the “Recruitment Project – (Year) – Specialist Officers” link.
  • A new page will appear. Candidates should select “Click here to download Call Letter”.
  • Applicants should login using their registration number and password.
  • Candidates should download the admit card and take a printout.

  • Aspirants should ensure that they have a valid email ID and mobile number before applying for the exam as updates related to the exam may be sent to the candidates via  SMS or email.
  • Candidates should download the information handout along with the admit card available on the official website of the bank.
  • Applicants have to produce their GD and interview call letter along with other documents for the interview.
  • Separate admit cards will be issued for online written test and interview (and GD).
  • Candidates must bring their call letters to the exam venue with a passport-size photo duly pasted on it. 
  • Applicants should also carry the original valid photo ID proof along with its copy, a ball-point pen and ink stamp pad to the exam centre.
  • Aspirants should make sure that they reach the exam venue at the reporting time mentioned in the admit card, otherwise they will not be allowed to write the exam. 
  • Cell phones, books, written notes, calculators or other electronic devices are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Ration cards and learner’s licence are not accepted as valid ID proofs. The following photo ID proofs are allowed and accepted for the Canara bank Specialist officer exam:
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
    • Voter’s Card with photograph
    • Permanent  Driving Licence
    • Bank Passbook with photograph
    • Photo identity proof  issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
    • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with  photograph
    • Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College or University 
    • Aadhar card or E-Aadhar Card with a photograph
    • Employee ID
    • Bar Council Identity card with photograph
  • Candidates must ensure that the name on their admit card exactly matches the name on their photo ID. If any candidate has changed his or her name, he or she should produce a Gazette notification or the marriage certificate or affidavit.
