Points to Remember: Educational Qualification and Post Qualification Work Experience for the Post of Canara Bank Specialist Officer (SO) Exam

Applicants should ensure that their educational credentials are from a university or institution that has been accredited by the Government of India. The results of the candidates must have been announced on or before the date indicated in the official announcement.

There is 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks requirement for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

If CGPA is given, it should be converted to percentage and stated in the online application form.
At the time of the interview, a copy of the “Conversion Formula” announced by the University or Institute for converting grades to percentage, together with an equivalent class, must be submitted.
Before the probationary period is through, candidates who do not already speak Hindi must acquire working knowledge of the language.
An applicant must either already have or gain operating and working expertise of computer systems within six months of the date of joining the bank.
