How to calculate prelims and mains scores from IBPS clerk prelims answer key?
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
- One fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
- If no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- The total marks of wrong answers multiplied by 1/4 will be subtracted from the total marks of right answers
- Suppose if the candidate scored 80 right answers and 12 wrong answers, then the total score obtained by the candidate is 80-(12/4)=77.
- The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using the equi-percentile method.
- Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.
