IIBF Exam Pattern for JAIIB and CAIIB

Indian Institute of Banking & Finance conducts IIBF exams to provide excellence to banking and finance industry employees in their professional careers. The JAIIB which was scheduled to be held on the 8th, 9th and 22nd of January 2022 now has been postponed due to the rapid increase in covid cases. The CAIIB is scheduled to be held on 30th January, 6th and 12th February 2022. The candidates appearing for the examination must be aware of the IIBF exam pattern for these two examinations.

Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) conducts two major exams for which only banking and financial sector employees are eligible to apply. They are JAIIB and CAIIB. 

Exam Pattern for IIBF’s JAIIB 

The IIBF conducts the JAIIB exam in Online mode. The JAIIB exam contains three papers of 120 Questions each. The duration of the exam for each paper is 120 minutes. Each paper is allotted 100 marks. The details related to the examination pattern of JAIIB are given below.

Exam Pattern for IIBF’s CAIIB 

The IIBF conducts the CAIIB exam in Online mode. The CAIIB exam contains three papers of 100 Questions each. The duration of the exam for each paper is 120 minutes. Each paper is allotted 100 marks. The details related to the examination pattern of CAIIB are given below.

  • The JAIIB and CAIIB exams will be held in both English and Hindi Languages. 
  • There is no negative marking in either of the exams. 

FAQ about IIBF Exam Pattern

What is the passing marks for IIBF exam?

The minimum mark for passing the subject is 50 out of 100. Candidates securing at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of examination in a single attempt will also be declared as having completed the Examination.
