Punjab National Bank Specialist Officer (SO) Online Test and Interview Results
The Punjab National Bank conducted the online test for the Specialist officer post on 14 February, 2021. The results of the online test were declared on June 12, 2022. The shortlisted candidates were called for the interview at various exam centres throughout the country. The interview commenced on October 17, 2022 and ended on October 20, 2022. The final results are expected to be published soon on the official website of the Punjab National Bank.
Applicants who get shortlisted for the interview should download the call letter from the official website of the Canara bank. For verification during the interview, the shortlisted candidates should bring the originals of the following documents along with self-attested copies:
- Print-out of on-line application
- Print-out of the Interview Call Letter
- Photo Identity proof
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Voter’s Card with photograph
- Permanent Driving Licence
- Bank Passbook with photograph
- Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
- Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph
- Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College or University
- Aadhar card or E-Aadhar Card with a photograph
- Employee ID
- Bar Council Identity card with photograph
Ration cards and learner’s licence are not accepted as valid ID proofs. If candidates have changed their name, they should produce a Gazette notification or the marriage certificate or affidavit.
- Proof of Date of Birth along with proof of certificate for applicable age relaxation (if applicable)
- Certificates and Marksheets of SSC / SSLC / X / 10+2 / PUC /Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation etc.
- Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates
- Disability Certificate in case of PWBD candidates, issued by competent authority. It should be submitted in the prescribed format given in the official notification.
- EWS candidates should submit Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the Competent Authorities as notified by the Government of India in the prescribed format.
- Individuals who qualify for an age relaxation under the category “Persons affected by the 1984 Riots” must present a certificate from the District Magistrate stating that they qualify for relief under the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected Persons approved by the Government of India.
- An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge Book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview.
- Candidates serving in Government or quasi Govt offices or Public Sector Undertakings should produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered.
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- Other relevant documents (if applicable and wherever necessary) in support of candidature of the applicant.

How to Download the Punjab National Bank Specialist Officer Exam Results?
Applicants can follow the steps given below to download the Punjab National Bank Specialist Officer (SO) exam results.
- Visit the official website of Punjab National Bank i.e. pnbindia.in.
- Select the “Recruitments” tab given on the homepage.
- A new page will appear. Candidates should click on the “Recruitment Project – (Year) – Specialist Officers” link.
- A new page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should select “List of Provisionally Selected Candidates”.
- Applicants should login using their registration number and password. Candidates can download the result and save it for future reference.
Applicants who get selected have to keep the following in mind before joining the bank:
- The appointment order will be mailed to the address provided by the candidates during online registration and the joining information will be sent to each candidate’s registered email address.
- The originals of the necessary documents must be presented by applicants when they join the bank to prove their eligibility.
- Candidates who belong to reserved categories have to submit the Caste/EWS/PWBD certificates in the format specified by the Government of India while joining the bank.
- If applicants are unable to provide the necessary documents, then they will not be permitted to join the Bank.
- Candidates who are selected for the post of Specialist Officer have to serve the bank for a specified period and have to sign an employment bond. If candidates leave the organisation within the specified bond period then they will be liable to pay the bond amount to the bank.
