The Reserve Bank of India conducted the Specialist Officer exams (SO) except for the post of Assistant Librarian in Grade ‘A’ and Curator on full time contract at various centres/venues in India on March 6, 2022. RBI notified vacancies for several specialist officer posts like Manager (Technical-Civil), Architect in Grade ‘A’, Legal Officer (Grade B), Manager (Technical-Electrical), Library Professional Grade A etc on January 15, 2022. The details of the exam centres for specialist officer posts are given in the table below.

Exam Centre for RBI Specialist Officer Post
Candidates while applying for the SO exam should very carefully choose the exam centre, as any requests related to change in the exam centre will not be entertained at a later date. The list of exam centres as notified by the Reserve Bank of India in the official notification are as follows:

Points to Remember
- Candidates can select only one centre while applying for the exam. They should mention the name of the centre and code number in the online application.
- The centre and date(s) of examination can be changed by the RBI at its discretion.
- Details of the exam centre/venue, exam date, shift of the exam etc will be given in the admit card.
- The RBI may allot another centre to the candidates in the event of cancellation of an exam at any centre.
