Eligibility For CAT 2019
CAT eligibility is extremely simple and does not include much conditions. It should be noted that the verification process of the IIMs is very strict and the candidature of an candidate can be immediately canceled in case of any discrepancies. CAT 2019 Application Fees
The application fee is expected to increase this year and will be updated as soon as it is reflected on the official CAT website. Below, the application fee for last year is given to give an idea of it.

It should be noted that candidates will only have to pay this amount for the entire application process and there are no separate fees to pay for applying to any of the 20 IIMs. Institutes other than IIMs may charge an application fee.
Registration Process for CAT 2019
The whole registration process of CAT 2019 was the same as the year before it. The registration process started on 7th August 2019 and ended on 25th September 2019. The admit card was released on 23rd October 2019. The CAT 2019 registration was an online-only process and candidates had to register themselves on the official portal to fill the complete application form.

CAT Exam Pattern 2019
Just like the previous year, the CAT exam had 3 sections including quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension, and logical reasoning and data interpretation. Marking Scheme:
- For each correct answer, candidates are awarded with 3 marks i.e. +3
- For each incorrect answer, 3 marks are deducted i.e. -3.
- 0 marks are awarded for unattempted questions.
It should be noted that the negative marking is only applicable to MCQs and there is no negative marking for TITA or Type In The Answer questions.
CAT 2019 Cutoff For Institutes
After the commencement of CAT 2019 exam, IIMs and other prestigious institutes had released the overall and sectional cut-offs for their admissions. CAT Results and Scorecard
CAT 2019 result was declared on 4th January 2020 and the scorecard was available on the official website. It should be noted that the scorecard will be valid for only 1 year and will include the overall and sectional percentile while will be then required by IIMs and other institutes to shortlist candidates for GD/ WAt and PI.
