APPSC Group 1 Services Exam Fee 2022

APPSC conducted the Group 1 Mains exam from December 14 to December 20, 2020. The result (digital evaluation) for the mains examination was declared on April 28, 2021. However, the Group-I Mains result was set aside by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh as a bunch of petitions were filed against the digital evaluation of Mains answer sheets of candidates. The High court had directed the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission to get the answer sheets of the candidates manually evaluated. 

As soon as the APPSC Group-I 2019-2020 exam cycle is complete, one can expect the 2022 notification. You can refer to the APPSC Group-I notification for the year 2019 on the linked page. The notification for the Group-I 2019 exam was released on December 31, 2018.

As the APPSC is yet to notify the Group-I 2022 notification, you can go through the following table to know the application fee payable by various categories. The table given below provides information on the exam fee that was applicable to the non-exempted category and exempted categories for the Group-1 2019 candidates:

Non-Exempted Category

Non-exempted category has to pay both the application processing fee and the examination fee.

Exempted Category:

The following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee  only i.e. Rs. 120.

2. Families having Household Supply White Card issued by the Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government (Residents of Andhra Pradesh)
3. Un-employed youth as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser- A) Department., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit a declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
4. Applicants belonging to the categories given above (except Physically Handicapped Persons & Ex-Service Men) who hail from other States are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee.

Mode of payment of application fee: Points to remember

The following payment gateways can be used to pay the application fee online:

  • Net Banking
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card

List of banks through which you can pay the online application fee will be available on the official website of APPSC.

  1. The application fee is non-refundable.
  2. If you fail to pay the application fee (except for the exempted categories) online, then your application will be rejected.
  3. Any other mode of payment eg: demand draft is not accepted.
  4. If a candidate wants to make corrections in the application form, he/she will be charged Rs.100 per correction. However, changes in the name of the applicant, application fee and age relaxation are not allowed.
