The FCI conducts exams for several posts like General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Medical officer at various centres throughout India. The exam for the General Manager post in various departments was last notified in 2019.
The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is yet to release the notification for the post of FCI Assistant Manager (2023). The official notification for the post of FCI Assistant Manager was last published in 2021. All the important information pertaining to the forthcoming FCI Assistant Manager exam will be updated here. Exam Centres for FCI Assistant General Manager and Medical Officer Post
An online exam and interview is held to recruit candidates for the posts of FCI Assistant General Manager and Medical Officer at various centres in the country. The list of exam centres for the online exam are given in the table below.

Points to Remember: FCI Assistant General Manager and Medical Officer Posts
- The FCI examination will be conducted online at various exam venues, details of which will be provided in the call letters of candidates.
- FCI will not entertain any requests related to a change of centre/venue. Therefore, it is important that candidates select their exam centres carefully while filling in the application form.
- The Food Corporation of India (FCI) reserves the right to cancel any of the exam venues and/ or add other venues.
- If a sufficient number of candidates do not opt for a particular exam centre or if the number of candidates are more than the capacity of the exam centre, then the FCI can allot the candidates to any other centre at its discretion.

Points to Remember: FCI General Manager Exam
- Candidates should remember that for the post of General Manager (Hindi), the Phase-II examination will be held online in the following cities only:
- Noida
- Mumbai
- Kolkata
- Chennai
- Guwahati
- If a sufficient number of candidates do not opt for a particular exam centre or if the number of candidates are more than the capacity of the exam centre, then the FCI can allot the candidates to any other centre at its discretion.
- The Food Corporation of India (FCI) reserves the right to cancel any of the exam venues and/or add other venues.
- Candidates who appear for the Manager (Accounts), Manager (Technical), Manager (Civil Engineering) Manager (Electrical Mechanical Engineering) posts have to write both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper – I and Paper – II shall be held in a single sitting.
- Candidates who apply for the Manager (Hindi) post, have to appear in Paper-III and Paper-IV. Paper – III & Paper-IV shall be held in a single sitting.
