The board holds this exam for Junior Engineer recruitment in Railways through 2 stages, CBT 1 and CBT 2. Although it has not yet released any notification for this examination in 2022, it remains the same every year.

Final Shortlisting of Candidates for RRB JE
After the twoo written examinations, i.e., CBT 1 and CBT 2, the next stage is document verification and the medical test. After the first two levels, the majority of candidates are filtered based on their performance in the written test.
Then they are called in for document verification, wherein, all the academic qualifications and category reservations mentioned in the application form are cross checked. In case any malpractice that was followed while filling in the registration form is discovered, the candidate’s candidature is canceled.
Finally, the Medical Test takes place for the final round of selection, and the candidates who qualify this stage are provisionally appointed as Junior Engineers by the Railway Recruitment Board.
