How did Mahatma Gandhi solve the Champaran problem?

Mahatma Gandhi appointed volunteers to educate the villagers of Champaran and set up an ashream tere. His wife Kasturba, taught personal cleanliness and community sanitation to the villagers and a doctor also volunteered to serve the villagers for a period of six months. 

These methods played a crucial role in improving the overall well-being of Champaran residents, making them ready for the satyagraha movement.
