Michael O’Dwyer was killed by Udham Singh with a revolver concealed in a book. Michael O’Dwyer was giving a speech at Caxton Hall when he was assassinated by Udham Singh by shooting at him twice at point-blank range.
Michael O’Dwyer was the Governor-General of Punjab and hence Udham Singh held him responsible for the massacre at Jallianwala Bagh
