What causes a revolution?

Revolutions are born when the social climate in a country changes and the political system does not react in kind.

Revolutions have many structural and social causes which may be due to the result of actions taken by an individual or an armed group. Sometimes a revolution may result in a bloody change of government or a bloodless coup depending on the circumstances at play.
