Who is the present chairman of the National Commission on farmers?

Prof. M.S. Swaminathan is the present chairman of the National Commission on Farmers. The National Commission on farmers was formed on 18 November 2004. You can read about the Farm Acts, 2020 – Arguments For & Against. Farm Laws in the given link.

This commission was formed to address the problem of farmers suicide in India. A total of 5 different reports were submitted by the National Commission on Farmers. Prof M.S.Swaminathan is known as the Father of Green Revolution in India.
