SSC CGL vacancy varies as per the requirement of different ministries of the Indian Government. The Staff Selection Commission has announced a total of 7035 vacancies which are to be filled through the SSC CGL exam. The announcement was made in SSC CGL Notification 2021 that was updated on 08.02.2021.
The total tentative vacancy (7035) in 2020 is less than the tentative vacancy (8539 (Updated as on dated 10.02.2021) in 2019. Candidates can check SSC CGL page for further details.

Note:
- Final result for 2019 notification is yet to be released. The Tier-1 of SSC CGL 2020 is conducted during 13-24 August 2021 at various centres across the country. The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Result for the Tier–1 examination on 26th November 2021.
- SSC CGL 2022 notification is not out. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CGL 2022 application form in online mode on the official website in the month of January 2022. Candidates can refer to year-wise vacancies given below for an idea.
