SSC CGL Vacancies – Recruitment & Salary

The tentative SSC CGL vacancies for the 2019 exam are more than 9000. However, the exact number will be confirmed once the official SSC CGL notification is released.

There are other SSC Exams which also have a large number of vacancies. Candidates can check the respective exam details for getting more information on the same.

As mentioned in the SSC CGL Notification, post 7th pay commission, candidates can expect a handsome increment in the salary for the gazetted posts in Group B. The salary for the group C posts is comparatively lesser than other Groups.

The online application form for the SSC CGL Exam will be available from 31st October 2019. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website.

Important information related to the online application process for SSC CGL 2019:

  • Any candidate having a bachelor’s degree in any stream can apply online for the SSC CGL 2019 exam
  • Application fee for males (general category) is Rs 100/-
  • Candidates belonging to all other categories are exempted from application fee payment
  • Keep all the scanned copies of documents ready before filling the online application form

SSC CGL Registration Process

  • Step 1- Go to the Official website of SSC.
  • Step 2- Select the SSC CGL from the dropdown menu and click on the Apply button.
  • Step 3- You will be redirected to a new window where you need to click on the New registration application window and on the register button.
  • Step 4- Provide your basic details like Name Date of Birth, Mobile Number, etc.
  • Step 5- Click on the submit button to complete the 1st registration process.
  • Step 6- You will be provided with a Registration ID. You need to log in using this registration ID, Password and date of Birth to complete the next steps.
  • Step 7- Candidates need to upload their recent passport size photograph and a scanned copy of the signature.
  • Note- The photograph should be of the dimensions asked for and it should be a recent one. The signature must be done using a white/black ink on a white sheet
  • Step 8- Re-Login with your Registration ID, password to complete the remaining steps.
  • Step 9- Candidates need to check the final application form for any mistakes.
  • Step 10- Candidates need to submit the form by clicking on the submit button.
  • Step 11- Candidates can now proceed to make the payment through online or offline mode and complete the registration process.
