The IIBF has announced the CAIIB exam date 2023 for June and December. The June session exam is scheduled for 10th, 11th, 18th, 24th & 25th June 2023, whereas the December session exam is scheduled for 26 November, 3rd December, 9th December, 10th December & 17th December 2023.

CAIIB Exam 2021-2022
IIBF administers the CAIIB exam twice in a year in June and November. However due to the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exams scheduled to take palce in June were instead postponed to September 2021. The second exams will take place in Jan/Feb 2022.
The CAIIB exam is one of the premium exams conducted by IIBF across the country. CAIIB aims at providing advanced knowledge necessary for better decision making covering, Treasury Management, Risk Management, Balance Sheet Management, Credit Management, International Banking, Economic Analysis etc.

As per the eligibility conditions mentioned by the IIBF on its official website, only the candidates who have completed JAIIB or PART-1 of the Associate Examination, and whose membership subscription is not arrear.Â

CAIIB Registration & Online Application
The registration for CAIIB exam starts when the IIBF publishes the official notice on the website. Interested candidates have to fill the CAIIB registration form online only.Â
Candidates who wish to appear for the Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers exam are required to meet the eligibility criteria before filling the CAIIB Application Form.Â

Step 1 – Visit the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance official website.
Step 2 – Select the ‘Examination/Courses’ option on the home page.
Step 3 – Now click on the ‘Flagship Courses’ option under the dropdown menu.Â
Step 4 – Select CAIIB and then click on ‘Apply Online’Â
Step 5 – Login with your membership number and password;
Step 6 – Read the instructions carefully and click accept.
Step 7 – Fill in the details like mode, medium, centre for the exam, place of work etc.
Step 8 – Click on ‘preview’ and crosscheck the CAIIB Application form, ensure that the details are filled in properly and spelt correctly in the application.
Step 9 – Now, click on ‘accept and submit’ for online payment.
Step 10 – Select the payment option (credit/debit card, net banking) and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.
Step 11 – On completion, take out the print of fee receipt and registration form.
Important Note – CAIIB Application process
- After submitting your payment information, please wait for the intimation from the server, it may take 1 to 5 seconds to process the request, but it may take longer in certain cases. DO NOT press the submit button once again, or the Back or Refresh button.
- In case the payment is debited from the candidate’s account and the transaction is not successful/completed, the Institute will refund the entire fees electronically within 10-12 working days from the date of transaction.Â

CAIIB Application Fee
The IIBF has set the CAIIB application fee on the basis of the number of attempts by the candidates. Candidates are required to Register for every attempt separately. The registration fee for the CAIIB exam is as follows-

Note –Â
- IIBF charges a regular fee for CAIIB exam to candidates who register for the examination during the first week of registration.
- For the second and third week of registration, the fees will be regular examination fee plus Rs. 100/-, andÂ
- For the fourth week of registration, the fees will be regular examination fee plus Rs. 200/-
- In case, the registration date is extended beyond 4 weeks the examination fees will be regular examination fee plus Rs. 200/- for the extended days.Â

CAIIB Admit Card
The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance provides the CAIIB Admit Card to the candidates ten days before the examination.Â
IIBF sends the admit card to the registered email and mobile numbers provided by the candidates during registration. Also, candidates will be able to download the CAIIB admit card from the official website a week before the date of exam. To download the CAIIB 2023 Admit Card, candidates need to login on the official website and follow the below-mentioned steps-

Step 2 – On the left side select the ‘Examination/ Courses’ section.
Step 3 – Now select ‘Admit letters’ from the dropdown menu.

Step 5 – Insert the credential of CAIIB membership number and password
Step 6 – The admit card for CAIIB exam will appear on the screen.
Step 7 – Verify the details and download the admit card also take the print out for future reference.

- Candidates are required to produce a printed copy of admit letter along with Membership identity card or any other valid photo ID card in original.

CAIIB Result
The IIBF announces the result of the CAIIB exam on the official website. Candidates appearing for Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers Exam are required to obtain the minimum cut off marks to make it to the final result.Â
As already mentioned, the CAIIB exam consists of three papers (2 compulsory and 1 elective paper) each carrying 100 marks. The minimum marks required for passing each subject or paper is 50 out of 100 marks.
The IIBF announces the result of the CAIIB exam on the basis of overall marks obtained by candidates in all three papers. To check the result candidates are required to log on to the IIBF website.Â
CAIIB Exam passing Criteria
- After registration, the candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam of CAIIB for a maximum of two years. After that, the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam as per the CAIIB 2023 exam pattern.Â
- The attempts will be counted for the CAIIB 2023 exam, whether the candidate will appear in the exam or not.Â
- The candidates will be allowed to hold the credit for the next attempts in the subjects which they will clear.Â
- The registration of CAIIB 2023 will be valid for two years, after that the candidates will have to re-register for the CAIIB 2023 exam.
