Overview of the Exam Pattern for Central Bank of India SO Exam Pattern 2023-24
The selection process of the Central Bank of India Specialist Officer (SO) comprises an online exam and interview. The online examination consists of Multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam is divided into various sections that consist of discipline/stream specific questions, computer knowledge, banking etc. An overview of the Central Bank of India Specialist Officer (SO) exam pattern is given in the table below.

Points to Remember: Central Bank of India SO Exam Pattern 2023-24
- The online test will be of objective type and each question will have 5 options.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, hence candidates should choose the answer options carefully.
- The online test will be conducted in English and Hindi. Candidates can select the language as per their preference.
- 20 minutes compensatory time (in addition to 60 minutes) will be allotted to the candidates with disability (who are eligible for compensatory time).
- During the examination, candidates should keep track of the time allotted for the exam.There will be a countdown timer in the top right corner of screen that will display the remaining time available with the candidate to complete the exam.
- After selecting the appropriate answer for every question, candidates should click on the ‘Save and Next’ option.
- Candidates can also click on the ‘Mark for Review & Next’ button, in order to mark the question for review.
- Candidates should not press any ‘keyboard keys’ during the test as this will lock the exam.
