Age Limit for IBPS Clerk
- Candidates intending to apply for CRP Clerks-XI should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.
- The IBPS clerk eligibility criteria are majorly based on the candidate’s:
- Nationality
- Age
- Educational Qualification
- At the time of joining and any subsequent stage of the recruitment process as required by IBPS/ Participating Banks, the candidates must produce the relevant documents in original and a photocopy in support of their identity and eligibility pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications etc.

- Minimum Age Limit for IBPS Clerk Exam – 20 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for IBPS Clerk Exam – 28 Years
Note – For IBPS Clerk Vacancies of 2023-24, a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1994 and not later than 01.07.2002 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS Clerk Age Limit Relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central Government in Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation
- The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates and Economically Weaker (EWS) Category Candidates.
- For candidates belonging to the OBC category, the certificate should specifically contain a clause that the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of reservation for Other Backward Classes in Civil post & services under Government of India.
