Applicants can download the IOB SO admit card from the official website of the bank. The admit card for the Indian Overseas Bank Specialist officer (SO) exam consists of the following information:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Date of the examination
  • Name and address of the examination centre
  • Reporting time
  • Registration Number
  • Timing of the Examination, etc.

Candidates should check their call letters for any mistakes after downloading them. They should contact the helpdesk if they find any discrepancy or are unable to download the admit card.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the Indian Overseas Bank Specialist Officer (SO) exam admit card.

  • Visit the official website of the Indian Overseas Bank i.e. iob.in.
  • On the homepage of the main website, select the “Career” tab.
  • Search for “Call Letters for Online Examination” and click on the link.
  • A new page will appear. Candidates should login using their registration number and password.
  • Candidates should download the admit card and take a printout.

  • While downloading the admit card, candidates should go through the information handout available on the bank’s official website.
  • Applicants should have a valid email address and mobile number as important information related to the exam may be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. Moreover, the bank may send the call letter for the interview to the email address of the candidate.
  • Aspirants should reach the exam venue at the reporting time given in the admit card. Those who reach the exam centre late will not be allowed to write the exam. In order to familiarise themselves with the location of the exam centre, applicants may also visit the exam venue one day prior to the examination.
  • Candidates should paste a passport size photograph on the admit card and carry it to the exam venue. They should also carry a valid photo ID proof and its photocopy to the exam centre.
  • Applicants should submit the admit card along with a photocopy of photo identity proof duly stapled together at the exam hall. 
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry calculators, books, written notes, cell phones or any other electronic device to the examination hall.
  • When going to the exam centre, applicants should make sure their photo ID bears the exact same name as it does on the call letter. Ration cards and learner’s permits are not accepted as valid ID documents. The following photo ID proofs are allowed for the IOB SO exam:
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
    • Voter’s Card
    • Permanent  Driving Licence
    • Bank Passbook with photograph
    • Photo identity proof  issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph
    • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with  photograph
    • Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College or University 
    • Aadhar card or E-Aadhar Card with a photograph
    • Employee ID
    • Bar Council Identity card with photograph
