RBI Specialist Officer (SO) Books 2022

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) notified 14 vacancies for various specialist officer posts on January 15, 2022. RBI has provided the syllabus and book references for some SO posts, for instance Architect in Grade ‘A’ post. Paper 1: Objective Type Test (Online)

Paper 1 focuses on testing the professional knowledge/ job knowledge of candidates. Therefore, candidates should go through the guidelines given by RBI in the official notification to prepare for Paper 1. RBI has not prescribed a book reference list for this paper.

Paper 2: Descriptive Type Test (Offline)

Standard of the papers is that of B.E. Degree. Candidates should refer to the Bachelor’s degree textbooks to prepare for these two posts.

 

3 Architect in Grade ‘A’ Paper I- Objective Test:

Objective Test includes English grammar and aptitude test – 25% weightage each and rest 50% being Professional/ Job knowledge.

Paper II- English Test:

The English Test will be descriptive with Precis writing, comprehension, official letter writing, report writing, etc.

Paper III- Descriptive Test Standard of the paper will be that of a bachelor’s degree of Architecture

Note:

There is no written exam for the posts of Library Professionals (Assistant Librarian) in Grade ‘A’ and Curator on full time contract for the RBI Museum at Kolkata. Candidates should go through the guidelines given in the official notification released by the RBI
