The SBI has released vacancies for Specialist Cadre posts for Wealth Management Business Unit. A total number of 665 vacancies have been released for SBI SO 2022 Recruitment. The candidates can apply from 31st August to 20th September 2022. Earlier, the board released the notification for 35 vacancies on 27th April 2022 and 11 vacancies on 27th May 2022 for different posts. Before the 2022 recruitment, the last SBI SO exam was conducted in 2021 for the recruitment of 450+ Specialist Officers in the State Bank of  India. 

The SBI SO result is released based on an overall cut-off released by the conducting body which is calculated keeping in mind the performance of candidates across the country.

The Specialist Officer exam is conducted for recruiting candidates for various Specialisations including Law, IT, HR, etc. The vacancy distribution for various posts under this exam is given in the SBI SO Notification.

The candidate who qualifies the prelims is shortlisted for the mains exam and the one who qualifies the mains level of the exam is called for Interview. The final SBI SO result is based on the marks scored in the mains and the Interview level.

SBI SO Result Dates

The SBI Specialist Officer result is released mentioning the list of candidates shortlisted for the post they have applied. 

SBI posted for different positions in the Specialist Cadre for the Wealth Management Business Unit, close to a total of 665 positions for the SBI SO 2022 Recruitment. On May 27, SBI SO notification 2022 for Risk Specialist Sector, Risk Specialist Sector, Risk Specialist Credit, Risk Specialist Climate Risk, Risk Specialist IND AS, and Risk Specialist Market Risk was published to fill a total of 14 positions. Earlier, SBI SO 2022 notification was released for 32 vacancies of Manager, Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Deputy Manager on regular basis.

The exam pattern for the SBI SO posts includes only two stages:

1. Online Examination
2. Interview

Candidates who appear for the Specialist Officer exam 2023 can check the SBI SO result on the official website of SBI. Given below are the steps that shall help candidates check their result status and marks for the SBI SO exam 2023:

1. Visit the official website of SBI 
2. In the “Announcements” category check for the SBI SO result link.
3. Click on the link and a PDF is displayed with the roll number/registration number of the shortlisted candidates.
4. Check if your roll number or registration number is mentioned in the list of shortlisted candidates. 

The scorecard is generally released a few days after the SBI SO result is declared. Candidates can check the section-wise marks and the cut off once they are released.

SBI SO Result – Online Test

The SBI SO online test result is declared for the online computer based test comprising questions from General aptitude and Professional Knowledge. The Specialist Officer result for the online examination is released based on the overall performance of candidates who appear for the exam across the country.

The marks scored in the Online examination along with the Interview marks are combined to calculate the final merit for the SO examination.

The SBI SO Interview result is the final result declared for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in SBI. The SBI SO exam is conducted for various posts and the final SBI SO result is based on an overall performance of candidates.

The overall and sectional cut off is released by the conducting body and based on the same the final merit list of candidates is released.

SBI SO Final Merit List

All positions will be filled through SBI SO 2023 based on the State Bank of India’s merit list. 

In case there is a tie among the candidates, the following methods are used for breaking ties among candidates with the same score.

• If more than one candidate secures the same cut off marks in SBI SO 2023 exam, their merit rank will be calculated based on the age of candidates. Candidates who are elder will be ranked higher than the younger candidate in the merit list prepared by State Bank of India.
