UPSC Exam Centres – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Civil Services Examination for various posts like IAS, IPS, IFS, IFoS and others.

Here’s the list of the UPSC Exam centres for civil services prelims and mains to help the candidates to choose their centre of examination before filling the UPSC Online application form.

About UPSC Exam Centres

UPSC releases separate lists of centres for civil services preliminary and for mains examination. Candidates should check the list of UPSC exam centres that would make it easy for them to select the nearest and most convenient venue to write the exam. Candidates should know that there will be a maximum number of applicants allotted to each centre except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allocation of centres will be based on the first-apply-first allot and once the maximum number of candidates are allotted to a specific UPSC Exam Centre that particular centre would be blocked or frozen.

Candidates who cannot get their desired centre should choose another Centre from the list given below. Hence, candidates are recommended to apply at the earliest to get the desired UPSC Exam centre. The candidates should note that no request for a change of centre will be entertained. All the Examination Centres for Examination will cater to examination for Low Vision Candidates in their respective centres.

Note:

1. The date of holding the examination is liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission.
2. Notwithstanding the aforesaid provision, the UPSC reserves the right to change the Centres at their discretion if the situation demands.
