How to Check AFCAT Result 2023?
Aspirants who qualify the online examination of AFCAT by scoring the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the IAF are required to check the AFCAT result on the IAF official website.
The steps to check AFCAT result is as mentioned below:
- Â Visit the official website of IAF (afcat.cdac.in) to check the AFCAT result.
- Click on Candidates Login and select the AFCAT cycle you are appearing for (AFCAT 1 or AFCAT 2).
- Now enter the login credentials such as mail ID and password. Also, enter the text given on the screen and click login.
- Candidates AFCAT result in the form of scorecard appears on the screen.
- Now, check your score and status of selection and download the AFCAT result for future reference.Â

AFCAT Marking Scheme
The IAF follows a procedure for calculation of scores in AFCAT. The AFCAT marking scheme is prescribed in the notification released by the conducting body.Â
AFCAT marking scheme is as follows:
Candidates are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer
No marks are awarded for unattempted questions
Candidates lose 1 marks for each wrong answerÂ
The score of candidates is calculated in the following manner –

AFCAT – AFSB Seat Selection
Candidates on clearing the online written exam of AFCAT by scoring the minimum qualifying marks are required to register for the AFSB test.Â
The registration for AFSB test is an online procedure. Candidates have to log on to the official website. They have to provide their mail Id and password.Â
On successful registration, candidates will be provided with the AFSB exam date and exam centre to appear for the Air Force Selection Board Interview round.Â
AFCAT 2023 Cut Off
The AFCAT 2023 cut off have been announced along with the results on March 13, 2023. The cut off for AFCAT 1/2023 is 155.
AFCAT 2021 Cut Off
