AFCAT Marking Scheme

The IAF follows a procedure for calculation of scores in AFCAT. The AFCAT marking scheme is prescribed in the notification released by the conducting body. 

AFCAT marking scheme is as follows:

Candidates are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer

No marks are awarded for unattempted questions

Candidates lose 1 marks for each wrong answer 

The score of candidates is calculated in the following manner –

AFCAT – AFSB Seat Selection

Candidates on clearing the online written exam of AFCAT by scoring the minimum qualifying marks are required to register for the AFSB test. 

The registration for AFSB test is an online procedure. Candidates have to log on to the official website. They have to provide their mail Id and password. 

On successful registration, candidates will be provided with the AFSB exam date and exam centre to appear for the Air Force Selection Board Interview round.
