Bihar Public service Commission conducts BPSC AE Examination to recruit for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical posts. The Commission will conduct the selection procedure consisting of a written examination & interview.

BPSC Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria
BPSC Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria is mainly based on Educational Qualification and Age Limit. The requirements based on these two factors are given below
BPSC AE- Educational Qualifications
- Civil Engineering: Full time degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE.
- Mechanical Engineering: Full time degree in Mechanical engineering from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE.
- Electrical Engineering: Full time degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE.
BPSC AE- Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age to apply for the BPSC AE examination is 21 years and 37 years respectively. Female candidates can apply for up to 40 years. The age relaxations for different categories are given n the below table
