Brief description about the Indian Coast Guard:

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is a maritime law enforcement and search and rescue agency of India with jurisdiction over its territorial waters including its contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone. The Indian Coast Guard was formally established on 1 February 1977 by the Coast Guard Act, 1978 of the Parliament of India. It operates under the Ministry of Defence.

The Coast Guard works in close cooperation with the Indian Navy, the Department of Fisheries, the Department of Revenue (Customs), and the Central Armed Police Forces, and the State Police Services.

  • ICG website will announce the date when e-admit cards are available for download for Stage I, II &III. Candidates are directed to regularly visit the website and login to download the E-Admit Card for various stages.
  • No e-mail will be sent to candidates regarding “when the E-admit card will be available for download”.
  • Examination city will be displayed in candidate’s login at least 10 days prior to Stage-I.
  • The E-admit card with exact Examination Centre address will be available in Candidate login and email will be sent on registered email Id only 02-03 days prior to examination.
