KSET Exam Pattern 2023

For the latest edition of KSET, there will be two steps for this exam. The first step will consist of Paper I, whereas the second step will have Paper II. Among these two steps. Paper I is common for all candidates, and Paper II is subject-specific. The test will be consisting of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).

Here are the details about the exam pattern of KSET.

Paper I: There will be 50 compulsory objective-type questions, each carrying 2 marks. The questions are intended to evaluate a candidate’s research/teaching aptitude. In addition, the questions are formulated to assess students’ comprehension, divergent thinking, reasoning ability and general awareness.

Paper II: This paper will constitute 100 objective questions, each carrying 2 marks. These questions will depend on the subject chosen by a candidate during application.

Students will be provided with an OMR sheet and a test booklet during the examination, and they have to mark their answers on that sheet as per instructions.
