KTET Exam Pattern Category Wise
Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2022 is to select teachers for –
- Category I (Lower Primary Classes)
- Category II (Upper Primary Classes)
- Category III (High School Classes) and
- Category IV (for Language Teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to Upper Primary classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Crafts) and Physical Education Teachers.
The aspirants have to undergo 3 stages of the recruitment process in the KTET exam to get selected from the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test. The KTET Selection Process are as follows:

Kerala TET Exam Pattern Category I – (Lower Primary Classes)
The category 1 KTET exam pattern is important for lower primary class teachers who want to teach classes 1 to 5. As per the KTET exam pattern for Category 1 paper, a total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked. The Exam is of Objective type. Candidates are given 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the paper. Each question is of 1 mark.

The KTET exam pattern for Category 3 paper is for high school teachers who want to teach classes 9 to 12.
The KTET exam pattern for Category 3 paper goes like this –

- Candidates need to attempt the paper in a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.
