About Railway Apprentice Exam 2023

Central Railway Apprentice is a prestigious examination to fill up posts in Central Railways. In addition, Central Railways will invite applications for designated trades at various workshops and units.

The opening of its online application started from 17th January 2022 and ends on 16th February 2022. Aspirants can fill in this form up to 5 pm on the last day.

  1. The application fee for this exam is Rs. 100 for General and OBC category applicants.
  2. A merit list will be published based on the ITI marks in that trade in which one will undertake the apprenticeship and marks in matriculation. Authorities will prepare a final merit list based on a simple average.

Syllabus for the Central Railway Apprentice

There is no syllabus or exam for the Central Railway Recruitment. The Railway Recruitment Cell will prepare a merit list based on the matriculation marks (minimum 50%)and the ITI trade marks.

Exam Pattern for the Central Railway Apprentice

There is no examination or exam pattern applicable as there is no written test in the recruitment process.

Eligibility for the Central Railway Apprentice

The eligibility criteria for age is as follows:

Any candidate should be between 15 and 24 years of age as of 17th January 2022.

This Candidate should’ve passed the class 10 exam or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognised board.
