UPPSC RO ARO Exam Notification 2023

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) holds the Review Officer/ Assistant Review Officer (RO ARO) exam to select candidates for open positions, every year. The UPPSC will post the UPPSC RO ARO 2023 notification on its website for the jobs of RO/ARO or Samiksha Adhikari/ Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari. The UPPSC RO/ARO exam is conducted in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Skill Tests.

Once the RO ARO notification is made public, interested individuals who have earned their graduation in any discipline are able to apply for the exam. Candidates who apply for this position must be between the ages of 21 and 40. However, some exceptions exist for members of the SC, ST, and OBC categories.

Recent Update: The Prelims exam of UPPSC RO/ARO 2021 was conducted on 5th December 2022. Between April 24 and 26, 2022, the UPPSC RO ARO Mains Exam was held. The computer typing test was administered from October 11 to October 14, 2022. The final results are awaited.

UPPSC RO/ ARO: Notification

The most recent notification for the UPPSC RO/ARO exam was released in 2021. Along with the official notification, the UPPSC RO/ARO Application Form 2021 was made available on the official website on March 5, 2021. The candidates could apply from 5 March to 5 April 2021 for the UPPSC Samiksha Adhikari/ Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari Exam 2021.

The Prelims exam was conducted in December 2021, followed by the Mains exam conducted in April 2022. Recently the computer typing exam was conducted in October 2022. Since all the stages of the exam are over the candidates can expect the release of the final result, on the official website of the UPPSC. 

The official notification for UPPSC RO/ARO 2022 has not been released yet and is expected to be released soon. UPPSC RO/ ARO Exam: Apply Online

The registration process must be completed by the candidates, and they must do it accurately throughout. The specific application procedure is described below:

  • Visit the official website of UPPSC and click on the link- “All Notification / Advertisement”.
  • After clicking the following three sections of the online advertisement will open in a new window:
    • User instruction
    • View advertisement
    • Apply 

The application will be filled in 3 stages:

First Stage:

  • To apply for the UPPSC RO/ ARO, first click “see advertisement” then after carefully reading the user instructions for filling out the online form, click on “Apply Online”.
  • After clicking “Apply Online” go to “Candidate Registration” and complete the basic registration form for the post one is applying for.
  • After completing the Basic Registration form, candidates must double-check their entry of all relevant information. 
  • Click the “Edit” button and make the necessary changes if any edits or alterations are needed. 
  • Click the “Submit” button once candidates are confident that all the information has been entered accurately.
  • This completes the first stage of the application process. Click on “Print Registration Slip” to print the registration slip.

Second Stage:

  • Next stage in the process is the payment of the Application Fees. Click on the “Fee to be deposited [in INR]”. 
  • After clicking, State Bank MOPS’ home page will appear. Candidates have three different ways to pay the fee: Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card and Additional means of payment. 
  • Candidates should pay the required fees as per the category in which they are applying.
  • Select “Print Payment Receipt” and save the file for future use.

Third Stage:

  • Click “Proceed for final submission of the application form (Part-2)” after successfully paying the fee. Fill in all the required documentation correctly.
  • Upload scanned copies of the most recent passport-size colour photo and the signature in the appropriate size and format. 
  • After reviewing all of your entries, click “Preview” and then “Submit.” The applicants may print out this application.

Size of the Photograph and Signature

  • The scanned image must be of size 3.5 cm by 6.0 cm.
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image, of both the photograph and signature is not more than 50 KB.

UPPSC RO/ ARO: Eligibility Criteria

For the recruitment of Samiksha Adhikari (RO) and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari (ARO), the UPPSC has set up a set of eligibility requirements that applicants for the abovementioned positions must meet. Following are the required eligibility requirements:

4. Education Qualification All candidates must meet the minimum educational requirements set by UPPSC for this exam. However, in order to be hired for a given position, a candidate must meet a set of specific requirements:

  • The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an Indian university recognised by law, or an equivalent degree, up to the last date for receipt of online application.
  • O Level Exam for Some Post
  • Knowledge of English Typing
  • Hindi Typing with 25 WPM
5. Work Experience  No work experience required.
