UPPSC Review Officer/ Assistant Review Officer Result Stages
The result of the UPPSC Samiksha Adhikari/ Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari exam are released in three stages: Preliminary, Mains and Typing test. Additionally, it should be mentioned that UPPSC publishes the cut-off scores for the Preliminary and Main exams as well as a list of the successful applicants following the completion of the Preliminary, Mains and Typing test and document verification phases.
- Prelims Result: The first stage of the exam is Prelims. The results of the Preliminary exam are released on the official website of the commission based in the Prelims cut off released. The candidates who meet the cut off marks are selected for the Mains exam.
- Mains Result: The next stage is the Mains exam. The candidates who score minimum marks in the Prelims exam are selected and they are eligible to write the Mains exam. Following the exam, the commission publishes a list of the successful applicants based on the Mains cut-off. These qualified applicants then take the required Hindi typing test.
- Typing Test Result: The candidates who are selected after the UPPSC RO ARO Mains exams are then required to take the Hindi Computer Typing test. A list of applicants who pass the commission’s Hindi Typing Test is made public by UPPSC in the third stage. Selected candidates hence move to the next round of verification of their documents. Candidates must have all of the declared documents in the correct order in order for their names to be considered for selection.
- Final Merit List: After the stage of document verification, UPPSC announces the final list of selected applicants. The final merit list is hence released on the official website of the commission.

Resolution In Case of Tie In UPPSC RO ARO Exam
A “tie-case” occurs when two or more candidates receive equal marks on the UPPSC RO ARO examination. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is responsible for deciding a tie-case for the UPPSC RO ARO test. In the event of a tie in the UPPSC RO ARO result, UPPSC could choose one of the following options:
- A higher rank on the UPPSC RO ARO merit list would be given to the applicant who is older in age.
- If the tie is in the UPPSC RO ARO Mains marks, in that case, the candidates’ marks for the Prelims exam will be used to break the tie. The candidate with the higher UPPSC RO ARO Prelims score will be ranked higher.
- Candidates with higher graduation marks are given preference if their preliminary and mains scores are equal.
