ICSE Class 10 Syllabus 2024 – Subject Selection
Three groups are present in the ICSE Class 10 board exam and are given below for your understanding.
1. Students should attempt the exam for all 7 subjects. 3 subjects in Group I are compulsory; 3 optional subjects have to be selected from Group II, and 1 optional subject has to be selected from Group III.
2. The final marks scored will be a combination of both internals and externals.
3. Internal marks will be rewarded to the students by the school authority, whereas external marks will be rewarded by the CISCE board.
4. Both Groups I and II will have 80 + 20 marking scheme, whereas Group III will have 50 + 50 marking scheme.
Marking Scheme of ICSE Class 10
The marking scheme of ICSE Class 10 helps students to get an idea about the overall structure of marks division for all the ICSE 10th subjects. ICSE Class 10 Exam Pattern
Students can have a look at the exam pattern of the ICSE Class 10 for all compulsory subjects below. A composition of 450 to 500 words, the second is a letter, the third is an unseen passage and related questions, and the fourth would be a question to test your grammar.
