Aspirants willing to appear for the General Insurance Corporation of India exam must be a citizen of an Indian National. Candidates who are –

  • An Indian citizen or,
  • A subject of Nepal, Bhutan or
  • A Tibetian refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India or,
  • Migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Only the candidates matching the set GIC Officer Scale I age limit will be considered for the final recruitment of GIC Assistant Manager posts. General Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks for General and OBC and at least 55% marks for SC/ST category from a recognized university
