SSC JE Exam Centres - Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineering

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Junior Engineering (JE) Examination for recruitment in various Government departments. This article gives information on the exam centres of SSC JE Examination. Aspiring candidates can learn more about the different SSC Exams in the given link.

The candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their applications. No request for change of Centre of Examination will be considered later under any circumstances. A candidate may give options for three centres, in the order of priority, within the same region. SSC JE exam centres are spread across 9 different regions, with each region having many centres.

SSC JE Exam Centres – 9 Different Regions

The 9 different regions of SSC JE Exam centres are listed below:

  • Western Region (WR)
  • Southern Region (SR)
  • North Western Sub-Region (NWR)
  • Northern Region (NR)

SSC JE Exam Centres – Western Region (WR)

This region covers the examination centres located in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Dadra and Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The SSC JE centres are located in the following locations: Ahmedabad, Panaji, Nashik, Pune, Nanded, Mumbai, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Anand, Surat, Vadodara, Amravati, Aurangabad, Mehsana, Gandhinagar.

SSC JE Exam Centres – Southern Region (WR)

This region covers the examination centres located in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The exam centres are located in the following locations – Warangal, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Coimbatore, Puducherry, Chennai, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Kakinada, Kurnool, Guntur, and Chirala.

SSC JE Exam Centres – North Western Sub-Region (NWR)

This region covers the examination centres located in the states of Chandigarh,

Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Punjab. The exam centres are located in Jalandhar, Patiala, Srinagar, Jammu, Samba, Shimla, Hamirpur, Leh, Amritsar, Chandigarh.

SSC JE Exam Centres – Northern Region (NR)

This region covers the examination centres located in Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. The exam centres are located in Roorkee, Haldwani, Haridwar, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Ajmer, Dehradun, Sriganganagar, Sikar, Dehradun, Delhi.

SSC JE Exam Centres – North Eastern Region (NER)

This region covers the examination centres located in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. The exam centres are located in Agartala, Aizwal, Shillong, Imphal, Tezpur, Jorhat, Silchar, Guwahati, Itanagar, Dibrugarh.

SSC JE Exam Centres – Madhya Pradesh Sub-Region (MPR)

This region covers the examination centres located in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The exam centres are located in Ujjain, Satna, Sagar, Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Bilaspur, Raipur, and Bhilai Nagar.

SSC JE Exam Centres – Karnataka, Kerala Region (KKR)

This region covers the examination centres located in Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. The exam centres are located in Kavaratti, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Belagavi, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi, Mysuru, Hubballi, Bengaluru, Kollam, Kannur, Kottayam, Thrissur, Udupi, Shivamogga.

SSC JE Exam Centres – Eastern Region (ER)

This region covers the examination centres located in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, and Jharkhand .
