The Staff Selection Commission reserves the right to set the opening and closing dates of the SSC Junior Engineer Online application window. Generally, candidates are given one month time to fill the SSC JE Registration Forms.

SSC JE Application Form

The application window for SSC JE registration form 2023 is announced by the commission along with the recruitment notification.

The information given below is for the latest recruitment exam of Junior Engineer i.e. 2022 examination.

Candidates can check SSC Notification for relevant details of various SSC examinations. 

The Staff Selection Commission will released 2023 notification on July 26th 2023, from the same date the SSC JE registration process 2023 is starting. The closing date of SSC JE registrations is August 16 2023  i.e SSC will give one month to aspirants to fill the Junior Engineer Application Form.  

Steps For SSC Apply Online

Since the application process for the 2023 examination is already started, Aspirants of the upcoming Junior Engineer exam can refer to the below-given information to fill in the SSC JE Apply Online Form.

Given below is the procedure for filling the SSC Junior Engineer online application form which consists of two parts:

  1. One-Time Registration
  2. Online Application Form

One-Time Registration: For this type of SSC JE registration, a candidate should read the instructions which are updated in the Notice of Examination carefully before proceeding to fill up the online ‘Registration Form’ and ‘SSC JE Application Form’.

The candidate is required to open the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in) and click on ‘Register Now’ provided in the Login section of the website. It is essential to keep the following documents handy during registration:

  • Mobile Number/Email ID which should be verified through OTP. During registration, the User ID of the candidate will be the e-mail ID that he/she had provided earlier.
  • Update Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number as an ID proof. 

If the Aadhaar card is not available, the candidate can show any of the following documents later:

  1. Voter ID Card
  2. PAN Card
  3. Passport
  4. Driving License
  5. School/ College ID Card
  6. Employer ID (Govt/ PSU/ Private)
  • Information about the name of the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the 10th standard examination.
  • Have a scanned colour passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
  • Have a scanned signature in JPEG format (10 KB to 20 KB).

The steps to fill the one-time registration  are as follows:

1. Please read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Application Form’.

2. For One-Time Registration, click on the ‘Register Now’ link provided in the ‘Login’ Section on https://ssc.nic.in.

3. One-Time Registration process requires filling up of following Information:

  • Basic details
  • Additional and contact details
  • Declaration.

4. For filling up the ‘One-Time Registration Form’, please follow the follwing steps:

A few critical details (e.g. Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth etc) are required to be entered twice, in the relevant columns of the Registration Form, for verification purpose and to avoid any mistakes. If there is a mismatch between original and verify data columns, it will not be accepted and an indication will be given in red text.

Provide information about Aadhaar Number/Identity Card and its Number. Any one of these Numbers is required to be given.

Fill the name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate. In case, you have made any changes in your name after matriculation, indicate the same at S No-2c and 2d.

  • Candidates should fill in their father’s name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.
  • Candidates should fill in their mother’s name exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.
  • Candidates should fill in their date of birth exactly as given in the Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.

Matriculation (10th Class) Examination Details which include:

The candidate’s Mobile Number. This must be a working mobile number as it will be verified through ‘One Time Password’ (OTP). It may be noted that any information which the Staff Selection Commission/Delhi Police may like to communicate with you, will be sent on this mobile number only. Your mobile number will also be used for retrieval of password, if required.

Candidates Email ID. This must be a working Email ID as it will be verified through OTP. It may also be noted that any information which the Staff Selection Commission/Delhi Police may like to communicate with the candidate, will be sent on this Email ID only. The candidate’s Email ID will also be used for retrieval of password/Registration Number, if required.

Provide details of State/UT of your Permanent Address.

When the Basic Details provided are saved, Candidates will be required to confirm their mobile number and email ID. On confirmation, the data will be saved and your Registration will be complete

The number will be displayed on the screen. Candidates Registration Number and Password will be provided on their mobile number and Email ID.

Candidates have to complete the Registration Process within 14 days failing which your Registration Details saved so far will be deleted.

Login using th candidates Registration Number as username and auto generated password provided on mobile and email. Change thepassword, when prompted on first login.

After successful password change, Candidates need to login again using the Registration Number and changed password.

On successful login, information about the ‘Basic Details’ so far filled by the candidate will be displayed. They may edit it, if required or proceed further by clicking on ‘Next’ button at the bottom to complete your one-time Registration.

  • Provide information about your Category.
  • Provide information about your Nationality
  • Provide information about visible Identification Mark. Candiates may be required to show the above Identification Mark at various stages of examination.
  • Provide information about disability, if any. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (Locomotor), Locomotor disability of 40% and above (either one or both legs affected): Yes/No. Provide Disability Certification Number.
  • Provide information about your Permanent and Present Address. Save the data and proceed further to the last Part of the Registration Process.
  • Save the information provided. Take a draft printout and review the information provided thoroughly, before ‘Final Submit’.
  • Read the ‘Declaration’ carefully, if you agree with the declaration, click ‘I Agree’.
  • Upon clicking ‘Final Submit’ different OTPs will be sent the candiadtes mobile number and Email ID. They need to enter one of the two OTPs at the designated field to complete the Registration Process.

After submission of Basic information, if the registration process is not completed within 14 days, the candidates data will be deleted from the system.

6. After completion of the registration process, ‘Basic Details’ can be changed. However, it is advised to the candidates to be cautious while making one time registration.

7. You are again cautioned that name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, matriculation examination details should be filled exactly as recorded in matriculation certificate. Your candidature may get cancelled in case of incorrect/ wrong information.

The steps to fill in the online application forms are as follows:

1. Login to online system through your ‘Registration Number’ and password.

2. Click ‘Apply’ link in ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination 2023’ Section under ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.

3. Information in columns at S No-1 to 14 will be automatically filled from your One- time Registration Data which is non-editable. However, if the candidate want to modify any of One-Time Registration details, click on ‘Modify Registration’ tab provided at the left hand top corner of the dashboard and make suitable corrections before proceeding further

4.Give the preference for Examination Centers. You may choose examination Centers within the same Region. Choice for all the three Centers must be given in the order of preference.

5. If the candidate is an ex-serviceman, fill up the required information. Wards of servicemen/ex-servicemen are not treated as ex- servicemen

6. If the candidate is eligible for availing the facility of scribe as per Para-10.1 and 10.2 of the Notice of examination, provide information about the requirement of scribe.

7. If y the candidate is seeking age relaxation, select appropriate age-relaxation category.

8. Select the post the candidate wishes to apply.

9. Provide information about the qualifying educational qualification.

10. Please see Notice of Examination, Para No: 20 and fill up accordingly.

11. Information about your Postal Address and Permanent Address will be automatically filled from the One-time Registration data.

12. Upload your recent photograph (not more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination) as specified =. Applications with blurred photograph will be rejected.

13. Upload your signature as specified. Applications with blurred signature will be rejected.

14. The photograph uploaded above should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination.

Click ‘Yes’, if the photograph uploaded above is not more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination.

15. Go through the declaration carefully and click on “I agree” check box, if you accept the same. Fill up captcha code.

16. Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of fee. Preview and verify the information provided by you. If you want to modify any entry, click on ‘Edit/Modify’ button and make requisite corrections before proceeding further. When you are satisfied that the information is correctly filled, preview and verify the information and submit the Application.

17. Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of fee.

18. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

19. When application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. Candidates should take printout of the application form

for their own records. Printout of the ‘Application Form’ is normally not required to be submitted to the Staff Selection Commission at any stage. However, you may be required to provide printout of the online application form to address grievances related to online application, if any

Candidates are required to complete the registration process within 7 days failing which their Registration details saved would be permanently deleted. It is also important to note that the candidature of a particular candidate may get cancelled in case of wrong/incorrect information furnished.

SSC JE Online Application Form: A candidate can log in to the online system through his/her registered Email ID and password. After that, the candidate needs to click on the ‘Apply’ link ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination 2023’ section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.

Candidate has the flexibility to choose the examination centre as per one’s preference. Thereafter, the information with regard to Photo/ Signature/ Biometric impression needs to be filled up automatically from the One-Time Registration data.
