The Indian Navy has released the eligibility criteria for its Agneepath exam. If the eligibility criteria is fulfilled, candidates can apply for the Indian Navy through the Agneepath scheme.
Like all defence-related organisations, the Indian Navy (IN)Â comes with its own set of eligibility criteria. What they are will be discussed in length in this article.

What is the Agneepath Scheme?
Agneepath Army Bharti Scheme is a central government scheme for youth to give entry into the Indian Armed Forces.Under the scheme, Indian youth can join the defence services for four years and will be able to serve the country.

Eligibility Conditions for Indian Navy Agnipath Exam
The eligibility conditions for Indian Navy Agneepath Exam are as follows:
1. Age Limit: Candidates born between 1 November 1999 and 30 April 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. The minimum age limit is 17 years in this case.
- In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 22 years
2. Educational qualifications: The educational qualification is given as follows:
Qualified in 10+2 exam with Mathematics, Physics, and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from an educational board recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India
3. Nationality: Candidates should be from India or Nepal
4. Marital Status: The candidates, both male and female must be unmarried at the time of application and must stay so for the duration of the ab-initio training. Candidates will be disqualified if he/ she marries during this period or is found to be married despite signing an undertaking stating otherwise.
5. Medical Standards: The medical standards for Indian Navy Agneepath Exam is as follows:
