The Central Bank of India Specialist Officer (SO) Notification released for 2023 exam on February 28, 2023 for 147 vacancies.
On November 23, 2021, the Central Bank of India notified 115 vacancies for various Specialist Officer (SO) posts. However, on December 16, 2021 the number of vacancies was revised to 214. The SO online exam was held on January 22, 2022 and interviews for shortlisted candidates were held from April 25 to April 30, 2022. - Click on the ‘Recruitment’ icon on the homepage of the official website.
- Search for “ Recruitment process for selection of officers in Specialist category in various streams- 2023-24”
- Candidates should select the “Click here to apply online” option.
- A new page will appear on the screen. Candidates should select the ‘Click Here for New Registration’ tab and register for the exam. Candidates should ensure that they have a valid mobile number and an e-mail id before registering for the exam.
- A provisional registration number and password will be generated and it will be sent to the candidate via email & SMS.
- Applicants should login again using the provisional registration number password and fill in the required information. While filling out the online application form, candidates should click on the ‘Save & Next’ button to verify the details and save the information.
- Candidates should upload their Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the official notification released by the bank.
- Applicants should click on the ‘Final Submit’ button after checking the entire application thoroughly. Candidates should remember that they will not be allowed to change any entries in the online application form after its submission.
- After filling out the online application form, applications should pay the exam fee. An e-receipt will be generated after the exam fee is successfully paid.

The Central Bank of India conducts an online exam and interview to select candidates for the Specialist Officer (SO) posts. The online examination is of objective type and comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
