It is very important to understand that if you start preparing for physical test at the last minute,you will not be able to make it. Start well in advance once you know the schedule of the fitness test. Gradually, build your stamina and fitness level and give enough preparation time to lose any excess weight.
Activities like aerobics, walking, jogging, swimming,etc also help in good blood circulation and thus help in maintaining health.
Exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups are the essential for most physical fitness tests for IPS. Candidates need to learn these and practise well.
