Overview of Prelims Exam
Civil Services Prelims Examination has two papers:
- General Studies-I
- General Studies-II/CSAT
Both the papers are of 200 marks each and there is 1/3rd negative marking for every wrong answer. CSAT paper is of a qualifying nature, where a candidate has to secure at least 33% marks to qualify. The cut-off is decided by the UPSC for the GS Paper-I.
