2. His father D K Shukla was a Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and was posted at Patna.
3. His mother is a homemaker.
4. Anupam credits both his parents as inspiration for his success in the IAS exam.
5. Anupam also studied at the University of Wales for four years.
6. He also did part of his schooling in England.
7. From 6th to the tenth standard, he studied at the DAV School in Muzaffarpur.
8. He completed his final years of school from Patna Central School.
9. Anupam’s high marks in school exams fetched him a seat in Delhi University’s prestigious Hindu College.
10. At DU, he pursued and completed a degree in Physics.
