AFCAT Exam Date 2023

AFCAT is conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year to recruit for the vacancies in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The AFCAT 1 2023 notification was released in December 2022. According to the notification, the online AFCAT examination will be conducted on February 24, February 25 and February 26, 2023.

AFCAT Exam Date 2022:

As per the official notification, the online AFCAT 1 examination will be conducted on 12 Feb 22, 13 Feb 22 and 14 Feb 22.

What is the age limit for AFCAT 2023?

For Flying Branch, the age limit for AFCAT 2022 is 20 to 24 years. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relax able upto 26 years. For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch, the age limit is 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2024.

Can married person apply for AFCAT?

Yes, a married person can apply for AFCAT. Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/ Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible.  Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family.
