BPSC CDPO Prelims: Subject-Wise Analysis
Subject Exam Analysis Questions Asked
Bihar Specific Questions The questions were a mix of easy, moderate and difficult questions. Most of the Questions were asked from Bihar’s Geography section. 20
Current Affairs (National + International) In the Current Affairs section, which is more similar to the general awareness section, the majority of the questions came from the years 2020 and 2021, with very few from the year 2022. The Bihar BPSC CDPO Exam had moderately difficult questions that mainly covered popular subjects like sports and the Paralympics. 29
Economy The level of the Economics questions was moderate. With thorough preparation, this section can be handled well. 04
Environment & Ecology This section was easy and scoring. 02
General Science Without many difficult questions, Science was doable. This segment falls into the easy to moderate level category. For serious candidates for the BPSC CDPO Prelims 2023, having a basic understanding of science basics, appropriate NCERT Reading (Class 6 to 10th Science), and standard science study material would have been useful. 24
Geography The difficulty level of Geography questions in the Bihar BPSC CDPO Exam has increased significantly, so candidates should not base their preparation solely on a few general knowledge (GK) books, but rather, should read through at least Class 11th and Class 12th NCERT Geography as well as specific BPSC Study Materials for all upcoming BPSC Exams. 12
History Unlike previous years the questions asked in this section were difficult. Given how many statement-based questions were included in the paper from the History part, it was more akin to a UPSC CSE question paper. 30
Polity The questions from the Polity section were also moderate in difficulty. A good understanding of the concepts of this section would have helped candidates to score better. 19
Quantitative Aptitude The level of questions was easy to moderate. With good practice, the subject is scoring. 08
Reasoning  The level of questions was easy to moderate. With good practice, the subject is scoring. 02
